Erin and Hig have made Valdez on the 200th day of their trek from Seattle. Their account of the passage from Yakutat to Cordova is epic, making the route just taken from there to Valdez seem somewhat simpler than it really is, especially in winter.

These kind of treks are inspiring. I'm an intermediate backpacker and one day hope to go for something like this. The sense of accomplishment must be overwhelming for them and for KajBune.

Tomorrow (June 7, 2008) will mark a full year . Erin and Hig are now just about to enter Cold Bay and are less than 200 miles from the end of their trip to False Pass; that's 4,000 plus mile with no trails.
